What is Manual Lymphatic Drainage?
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) uses gentle manual maneuvers to help your lymphatic system move fluid through the body. The pressure depends on the area being treated, but it is usually very light. Jordan is trained to detect the specific rhythm, direction, depth and quality of lymph flow anywhere in the body.
Who is MLD for?

What to expect
If you haven't had MLD with Jordan before, or have never had MLD at all, a 30 or 45 minute appointment is recommended for your first visit.
Your first appointment starts with a conversation about your history and goals and an assessment. MLD is gentle, and after your first visit, session lengths range from 30 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes depending on the area treated.

Insurance and direct billing
MLD is performed under Jordan's RMT designation and billed under massage therapy. Jordan direct bills most major extended health insurers.
